Indigenous Voices on Tour
Indigenous Voices on Tour Indigenous Voices on Tour celebrates the strength, creativity, and diversity of Indigenous artists across Manitoba by bringing authentic stories, music, and cultural expression to communities throughout the province. Each year, Manitoba Arts Network coordinates three tours featuring established Indigenous performers who travel alongside emerging artists from our Emerging Artist Program, fostering mentorship, collaboration, and intergenerational exchange. Through performances, workshops, and community dialogue, the program amplifies Indigenous perspectives while building bridges of understanding and connection between artists and audiences across rural and northern Manitoba.
Building Strong Connections with Indigenous Communities Across Manitoba with our Indigenous Touring Program.
We are proud to continue our mission of delivering diverse arts programming to rural Manitoba. Our tour highlights two talented Indigenous artists from the Emerging Artist Mentorship Program (touring and Showcasing Program), who perform and receive guidance from a professional touring artist.
Each event features a 30-45 minute performance at the local school, preceded by an engaging arts activity, giving community members a chance to participate in a unique cultural experience.
