Isaac Girardin is a multi-talented, home grown, circus artist born and raised in Churchill. Following an atypical path in circus arts, he has nonetheless made an indomitable impact as a performer, educator, and community organizer, over the course of almost twenty years on the scene.
As part of his passion for spreading the joy of circus arts, he is a founder of both non-profits the "Winnipeg Circus Club" and "Prairie Circus Arts". As a veteran of school arts workshops and residencies, he has taught and performed across all of Manitoba's Treaty lands and dozens of communities; urban, rural, remote, and isolated.

With a broad base of experience both on the stage, and behind the curtain, he endeavours to make himself an asset to any event with both his steel toes and clown nose.

2024 saw the 5-Star debut of a new theatre show, "CIRCUS!" at the Winnipeg Fringe, building upon his years of variety arts experience and stories.

A quick search online for Indestructible Latin Orchestra or CURUBANDE SALSA BAND will take you to a history of performances in Winnipeg and Western Canada. This band is now back on the stage under a new name: Curubandé. Featuring the heavyweights of Latin Music in Winnipeg, such as Rodrigo Muñoz aka "Papa Mambo", Amber Epp, and Jaime Chinchilla, this band is a guarantee of authentic Afrolatin genres such as Cumbia, Salsa and Merengue.

Curubandé is Winnipeg's All-Star salsa band. This band has played at most major festivals in Western Canada, and it has been repeatedly selected to headline the Latin night at the Winnipeg Jazz Fest since 2009. In July 2024, the city of Thunder Bay hired the band for its main stage celebration of Canada Day. In 2025, the band is already lined up at many Western Canada festivals, especially in Manitoba.

A band that mixes the tenacious tradition of historic Salsa bands with an implacable desire to make people dance to their original music made in Canada. Influenced by Salsa Dura heroes such as Ray Barreto, El Gran Combo or Fania, and also modern Latin ensembles such as Spanish Harlem Orchestra, Curubandé aims at writing golden pages in the still young history of Latin Canadian music. There is only one way to do this: a bulletproof lineup of seasoned musicians that have endured time, tours, and challenges associated with keeping a 12-piece orchestra alive in today’s competitive music industry. This Canadian band has played alongside top Salsa Bands such as Puerto Rican Power and Sonora Carruseles and is well known in dance music venues in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta.

This Canadian romantic comedy is about two lonely single parents who meet and fall in love while watching their kids play a season of minor hockey. Hockey Mom, Hockey Dad was first produced in 1999 by Two Planks and a Passion Theatre Company on tour throughout Nova Scotia. The Toronto premiere was produced by Factory Theatre in 2003.
