For over 45 years, regions across Manitoba have held Regional Juried Art Shows. The Manitoba Rural & Northern Juried Art Show is the result of the regional juried arts show’s desire to bring art and artists together across geographic and cultural boundaries to develop relationships while celebrating and sharing the arts.

The Manitoba Rural and Northern Juried Art Show highlights the creative accomplishments of rural artists across Manitoba. The exhibit introduces Winnipeg audiences to the artistic work generated by visual artists from beyond the perimeter (Eastman, Westman, Central, Parkland, Norman and Interlake Regions). Artwork on exhibit is always diverse in material and content. Artists are invited to participate after being selected as winners in their regions’ juried art show.
