The Network coordinates block booked performance tours throughout the province featuring artists who showcase at our annual Conference and who are listed on our online performing arts directory. The block booking provides an effective, economically viable, focused touring system benefitting rural and northern communities and artists. This program tours 12 – 15 professional artists resulting in 140 performances in Manitoban communities to audiences just under 12,000. Total artists fees paid is around $145,000.00
Showcase Artist Applications
Performing artists apply through iwanttoshowcase.ca—a platform which allows applicants to register for several different Showcase events across Canada and the US. An established and expanding provincial network of arts councils, presenter organizations, staff, and volunteers are dedicated to providing live performances that engage, inspire, educate, and entertain. In every region of Manitoba, the arts are valued, celebrated, and shared.
Shows & Venues

Performing artists from across Canada wishing to tour in Manitoba can apply to preview their show at our annual Manitoba Showcase. Hosted in a different Manitoba community each fall, this event draws presenters from all parts of Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario who are looking for artists to bring to their hometown audiences.
